M.S. in Global Affairs students Sarah Collins-Fattedad, Michael DeVito, Yasmin Góes, Mariam Khorenyan, and Leila Milgrim researched and authored a report Towards A Global Digital Governance Architecture: Mapping Pathways for Cooperation & Inclusion as part of their NYU SPS Center for Global Affairs consulting practicum with the United Nations Foundation. The practicum was supervised by Clinical Professor Waheguru Pal S Sidhu as part of NYU’s Center for Global Affairs United Nations specialization. Read the report here.

The pandemic has shifted how we think about healthcare. The Covid-19 health crisis exposed deep and systemic inequities in access, affordability, and standards of care and the resulting impact on mortality rates and quality of life. As we move forward, how do we close gaps? Center community needs? Improve outcomes?
On March 17, in collaboration with Aperio Philanthropy, the NYU SPS Center for Global Affairs hosted “How Philanthropy Can Advance Health Equity” with panelists who explored how philanthropists and funders have been — and should be — approaching this reimagining of health equity globally. Students from the MS in Global Security, Conflict, and Cybercrime program recently competed in the prestigious Atlantic Council Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge and placed second among 40 global teams.
